Abstract
Menstrual cycle differences are caused by the different of stress levels. It because stress affects by hormones. Irregularities of the menstrual cycle of woman is a sign of reduction in woman’s fertility. Many factors can affect the menstrual cycle includes stress, nutrition, hormones, weight loss, strenuous activity, and organic disorders such as tumor / inflammation. This study aims to determine the relationship of stress with disruption of the menstrual cycle on D3 Midwifery students STIKES 'Aisyiyah Health Science College of YOGYAKARTA. The results showed that the sig value (2 tailed) of 0.03 where p <0.05 significant relationship found between stress and menstrual cycle disorders. From the result showed that most respondents are not normal menstrual cycles (72.4%) ie 53.4% polimenorhea, oligomenorhea 62.1%, 12.1% aminorhea. The majority of respondents tend to experience a mild level of stress that is 27 respondents (46.6%). Expected 1st semester student obstetrics D3 Aisyiyah Health Science College of YOGYAKARTA can manage her stress levels, since stress can affect the regularity of the menstrual cycle.
