Abstract

Nutritional status is a good indicator of good or bad eating behaviors of children, therefore the control of eating behavior of children is very important to the nutritional status of children, because children who are malnourished will get impaired physical growth, mental, intellectual and retardation. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship with the child's eating behavior relationship with nutritional status of the fourth and the fifth grades of children elementary school serangan yogyakarta in 2010 The method used is a survey of analytic correlation with the crosssectional approach. The sampling technique with purposive sampling moteode of 44 samples. Methods of data collection used a questionnaire for dietary habits and nutritional status to know scales of weight and height scale to measure the child. The analysis procces used the chi square test. The children with nutritional status of children in the fourth and the fifth grades of children elementary school serangan yogyakarta in 2010, evidenced by the count> table (64.128> 12.591) and p-value <0.05 (0.000 <0.05), 2) eating behavior of children grades 4 and 5 on the SDN attacks Yogyakarta in 2010 with a have good category (50%), 3) nutritional status of children the fourth and the fifth grades of children elementary school serangan yogyakarta in 2010 with a have good nutritional status (47 , 7%). The advice forthe teachers is they ask their student’s parents to pay more attention to their children’s healthy and nutritious food and give questionnaires or Leflet given to parents.
