Abstract
Background: Unmet need high on in sultan palace 22,97 % with sub district panembahan 321 to fertile couple .The cause of the blast the population and result of an abortion because an unwanted pregnancy. Purpose: Research aims to understand relations factors affecting unmet need in fertile couple Method: descriptive correlation research method, cross sectional approach. The population is 321 and 64 respondents sample with technique of taking simple random sampling. Instruments of primary data and questionnaires. Data analysis with Chi Square test. Result: age relation with unmet need (Pvalue =0,016), educational (Pvalue = 0.536), working (Pvalue = 0.179), parity (Pvalue = 0,000), husband support (Pvalue = 0.008). Conclusions and suggestions: There is a relationship between age, parity and husband support, there is no relationship between education and work with unmet need. It is hoped that it can be used as a reference to improve the services of midwives and cadres in giving counseling to fertile couples to participate in using contraception.
