Abstract
The result of the research indicate that there is influence between before and after illumination to the grade IV and V female student at Gendengan elementary school I Margodadi Seyegan Sleman. Before counseling are given, up to 90% of the respondents are not ready, after counseling are given, up to 64% are ready and the rest are still not ready. It is suggested to the parents to guide and give right information about menarche to their daughters.
