Abstract
This research aims to examine whether there is between comprehensions of sexual of adolescents and anxiety dealing with puberty on the teenage of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Temanggung in 2011. This study is a nonexperimental observational study with time-series section approach. The samples used were 40 respondents who were taken using simple random sampling. Data collected by questionnaire using the Kendall Tau test statistic. Kendall Tau test statistic significance could be demonstrated in the calculation, the value of Z count (4.8165)> Z table (2:58), with correlation coefficient (0530, Z count =4.8165. The relationship between high knowledge level and anxiety level is low. So there is a relationship between sexual knowledge and the anxiety faced puberty ion the teenage of SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Temanggung at 2011. Sugestion for the Health consultant, especially midwives, in order to further enhance education and motivate the teenage for facing the puberty.
