Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has made several life changes, one of which is lifestyle changes. The community find the changes of lifestyle is difficult during this pandemic, especially for students since educational facilities are closed to prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 virus. This phenomenon certainly makes students lose their comfortable place. Thus, they look for other places that can encourage them to stay productive as before, for example, the library. The city library is a complimentary facility provided by the government. Unlike other public facilities, libraries must also implement health protocols according to government recommendations by limiting the number of users. This is certainly not proportional to the number of students who want to visit the library. Therefore, it is necessary to adapt the library designs that can facilitate the needs of the community to remain productive. Moreover, a welfare library design can increase our body's immunity to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
