Abstract

The sexual disease infect (PMS) has been a long time known and two of them are most popular in Indonesia such as syphilis and gonorrhea. PMS is also will rising the risk of spreads the disease and HIV infected. The kinds of PMS prevalence in Bantul Regency is so high. In connection with localization of PSK (sexual worker) in Parangtritis Kretek Bantul, there is need to get serious attention such as preventing to spreads diseases or the spreads of PMS cases that actively conducted by medical officers in this region, whith one of recommendation by using condoms to sexual worker. The research by using methods of quantitative by means of statistic quantitative. location in Mancingan village, Parangtritis, Kretek Bantul Yogyakarta. The subject research is the commercial sexual worker (PSK) who stay in localization of the Village of Mancingan. The kinds of data is primer data that. The study by using 60 respondents from 80 total population.The results showed a majority responden have good knowledge and using condom, the results of statistical analysis through chi square test with 0.035 significance results showed that there was a significant relationship between level of knowledge and using condom. For ”PSK” always increase knowledge about “PMS” especially and use condom.
