Abstract

Background : Prevalence average standard laborrate Sectio Caesarea is a country according to WHO (10-15%). In Indonesia from 5% to 20% in the last 20 years , from 17 665 recorded birth rate there is 35.7 % of the labor Sectio Caesarea . Objective : This study aimed to determine the relationship of maternal age and parity with labor events in hospitals Panembahan Sectio Ca esarea Senopati Bantul Yogyakarta Year 2012 . Methods : The method used surve analytic correlational cross -sectional approach. Data collection using patient medical record data is for the year 2012. The population was 2,503 record all numbered ibubersalin m edic and sample of this study is that maternal Characteristic inclusion into labor with record totaling 96 respondents. Analysis techniques to test the hypothesis using Chi square. Results : In Simultaneousno associationwith the incidence of age Sectio Caes area (p-value 0.035 ), and there is a relationship between the incidence of parity with Sectio Caesarea (p- value 0.000). Suggestion: For midwives in hospitals Panembahan Senopati Should write complete documentation in the medical record in accordance with t heir respective authorities, and should further improve its ability especially in labor Caesaraea Section so that mothers who have given birth Sectio Caesarea risk factors can give birth normally.
